Axel Alexander Olson is an architecture and object designer interested in scalar relationships between living things and non-living things, physical and digital edges, beauty and simplicity. He holds a BFA with distinction from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is a M.Arch candidate at the University of Michigan – Taubman College of Architecture.
Axel has practiced at Perkins and Will and currently works with EXTENTS. He has contributed to events, exhibitions, and publications including the 2017 International Contemporary Furniture Fair, the 2017 and 2019 Chicago Architecture Biennial, the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale, the Chicago Architecture Center, and Soiled Zine.
