Axel Alexander Olson is an architecture and object designer interested in scalar relationships between living things and non-living things, urban edges and adjacencies, beauty and simplicity.

Axel received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with academic distinction from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2018, and is a Master of Architecture candidate at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture. He has practiced architecture and urban design at Perkins and Will and contributed to events, exhibitions, and publications including the 2017 International Contemporary Furniture Fair, the 2017 and 2019 Chicago Architecture Biennial, the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale, the Chicago Architecture Center, and Soiled Zine.
