Axel Alexander Olson grew up in Atlanta, GA and currently lives in Chicago, IL where he works as an architecture and object designer. He is interested in scalar relationships between living things and non-living things, urban edges and adjacencies, beauty and simplicity.
Axel received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with Academic Distinction from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2018. His work has been featured in notable exhibitions, print, and web publications. In collaboration with Milo Krimstein, he recently wrote and illustrated an architectural children’s story for Soiled Zine Issue 8, and participated in an event for the 2019 Chicago Architecture Biennial.
