Axel Alexander Olson is an architecture and object designer interested in scalar relationships between living things and non-living things, urban edges and adjacencies, beauty and simplicity. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with distinction from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is a Master of Architecture candidate at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture.

Axel has practiced at Perkins and Will and works independently with Luftwerk among other clients. He has contributed to events, exhibitions, and publications including the 2017 International Contemporary Furniture Fair, the 2017 and 2019 Chicago Architecture Biennial, the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale, the Chicago Architecture Center, and Soiled Zine.
